365 days through my eyes
Yay, today was the first day of classes! No, just kidding, it wasn’t that great. Haha, it was alright.. I had two classes so it wasn’t too bad. I had Media Systems in the morning.. grabbed lunch and chilled in my dorm for like an hour. Then I had my Intro to Foods and Nutrition class. I found it pretty interesting, so I’m excited for that class. Haha, I feel like a nerd saying that. Yeah, I don’t know what to do .. I want to major in nutrition, but I’m already so behind. On top of that, all the requirements are like biology, chemistry, microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, etc. Basically, you have to take like every science they have at Rutgers. Ugh, and I’m not exactly a science person.. I know I shouldn’t say I’m not going to do something because I think it’s hard, but for me it just doesn’t seem realistic for me to survive all those classes :\ Well, I guess I’ll see how the class I’m taking now goes, and if I like it enough, who knows, maybe I’ll switch majors. Aside from that, I have work tomorrow morning and a three hour class at night. Man, I am not looking forward to that at all. Hmm, what else .. oh I’m looking for fitness classes to sign up for. They have one to train for a half marathon, which I want to do, but I’m kind of scared. It sounds crazy, but that would be such an amazing goal to accomplish. I haven’t decided if I want to try it yet though. Okay, well I’m going to sleep soon .. Night night sleep tight!
Basically, all I did today was stay home and pack for Rutgers. I ended up going back after dinner. I went to Jose Tejas with my mom and Ted. Mmm, that’s one of my favorite restaurants! I’ve been going there ever since I was young, so it brings back good memories. Anyway, Castro came to visit after his dad’s house for the weekend and then I went back to RU. Oh man, it actually is nice to be back. I missed my dorm and everyone there :) So yeah, another semester and then summer break starts in May?! That’s crazy .. I can’t wait!
I would have to say today was a very productive day, for me at least. Ugh, well I forced myself to stay home the whole day. I wanted to go out, but I knew I had stuff to do. So I did laundry, serious laundry. If anybody has been to my house, there is always a huge mound of clothes in the corner outside of my room, but now it is ALL GONE. I did four loads of laundry and hand washed other clothes as well. Man, it took the whole day. Meanwhile, I made eggrolls with my mom. Actually, I basically did it because I rolled and fried all of them! Uh, so I had dinner with my family and we all talked for kind of a long time. Hmm, then I baked chocolate chip cookies for everyone back at Rutgers. I’m going back to my dorm tomorrow, so that’s why I stayed home because I have to pack and stuff. Yup, and now I’m still up because I’m not sleepy yet.. I’m gonna go watch TV now .. bye bye.
Today, I had dim sum with my family. My grandma came too this time! It was nice seeing her because she’s been home alone a lot these past few weeks. I stayed home for a bit after that, but my mom and Ted were going to the city to go see Mama Mia. I didn’t want to be home alone, so I went to hang out with Michelle. We played Dance Central 2 again and then met up with Kevin, Jasmine, Carlos, Juice, and Ian at Wicked Twist! Well actually we went to Krispy pizza first and then had frozen yogurt. Aleyssi met up with us too and we practically stayed at Wicked Twist for like 2 hours just talking. Haha, let’s see .. Aleyssi and I went back to Michelle’s and we just chilled the rest of the night. Yup, a simple day, but it was nice spending it with friends.
Hmm, so it was Friday the 13th. If you know me, I’m like super superstitious, but today seemed fine. Not much happened, except I had work. Afterwards, I went bowling with Charu, Brandon, Laurence, and Krishna. It was nice seeing them outside of Rutgers. Omg, and it’s been almost a month since I’ve seen Charu! Well anyway, I went to Michelle’s house and played Dance Central 2 with Marielle and Christina after! Haha, that game is so fun! Then, we stopped by Akash’s party and that was the end of my night. I apologize for my posts being short and boring. I have really bad memory, so I don’t remember much. Sorry!
